Warehouse Manager
Warehouse Manager
📍 Location: Edinburg, VA
🏢 Company: Frankston Packaging
📅 Job Type: Full-Time
About Us
Frankston Packaging is a premier provider of custom packaging solutions, specializing in folding cartons, labels, shrink film, and flexographic printing. With facilities in Tyler, TX, and Edinburg, VA, we are known for our innovation, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. As our operations continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled warehouse manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to ensure product quality at the point of entry, organize and verify inventory, and maintain the reliability of shipping and receiving records. The manager is also entrusted with the development and strategic deployment of warehouse personnel, ensuring that human effort is not wasted but rather harnessed efficiently to achieve order, productivity, and customer fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping Coordination: Oversees the full arc of outbound logistics—ensuring product identity, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance from the warehouse dock to the customer’s hands. This includes mastery over third-party carriers (such as FedEx and UPS) and internal fleet deliveries. The manager ensures that what is sent is precisely what was intended—a moral commitment to the integrity of the transaction.
Receiving Oversight: Accepts responsibility for all incoming material—verifying quality, documenting condition (especially in cases of damage), and coordinating testing and administrative flow. This is the gatekeeping role: to determine what enters the domain of structured value.
Inventory Control: Maintains the order of the internal domain, ensuring that all existing items are known, properly stored, accessible, and accounted for. This includes the staging of materials both for production and outbound shipment. At heart, this is the responsibility to ensure that potential is ordered for transformation.
Physical Demands
Must possess the physical agility and stamina to move freely through the warehouse and across all areas of the shipping dock, maintaining direct engagement with the flow of goods.
Requires operational competence with forklifts and pallet jacks—tools of precision and power used to enact order upon large, unwieldy forms.
May involve commercial driving, placing the manager in direct contact with delivery processes, extending responsibility beyond the facility.
- Must be capable of lifting and transporting packed cases (often exceeding 35 lbs.), embodying the literal weight of responsibility.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) plan
- Paid time off and company holidays
- Career growth in a collaborative, team-first environment
